Members who stay long enough become lifelong companions and never leave. The Elixir of Youth turns back an aging member's age, and you can now call back named heroes you lost.

Lifelong Companions
4 items
Every member has five trust steps. They fill as you head out together, and the member's detail screen shows what each step means and what comes next
At four steps the member asks a favor, such as beating a boss at or above a given floor together or saving a comrade on the brink. Favors are finished in battle
Finishing the favor fills the fifth step and makes them a lifelong companion. Lifelong companions never retire. They still age, and they leave if their morale hits bottom
When a free named hero with three or more trust steps retires, a Letter from an Old Comrade arrives two seasons later. Beat a boss at or above the floor in the letter and they return as they were when they left
Elixir of Youth
6 items
Use the elixir from the detail screen of a member who has started to age. Each bottle takes five years off their age and restores the strength aging took in that time
Each member can take two bottles in a lifetime, and you can use four a year. You can hold up to three
The first time you beat the boss on every 100th floor, you receive one bottle. You do not receive it while holding three
With an alchemist on the roster, an Alchemy Table appears in the forge. Put in one each of Time Sand, World Tree Dew and Boss Trophy to brew a bottle once a day
World Tree Dew comes in the week a fae member finishes a rear duty, and a Boss Trophy comes with every boss floor you win
Past floor 300, with an aging member on the roster, the Spring of Time opens in the Adventure tab. A ticket fills every 7 days, and beating the stage 3 boss gives three Time Sand
Calling Back Lost Named Heroes
6 items
Old Ties at the bottom of the Recruit screen calls back free named heroes who declined your offer or retired, for a price in shards. You can use it once every 4 weeks
They return as they were when you first met, wait in the recruit list, and grow again from the start. You pay the hiring fee on contract
Free named heroes who fell again after a revival, or whose reborn soul left again, line up for the Trial of Memory. Each trial opens 52 weeks after they left, one person at a time, once per person
The trial plays their story, then a battle against enemies as strong as the boss floor at your current best floor. Try once a week. A loss hurts no one, and you can try again next week
Win and the named hero returns. They grow again from the start, their potential drops by 5 and they rest for 8 weeks. Their chosen costume stays on
The same named hero can be revived only once and can pass through the Corridor of Rebirth only once
New Feature Alerts
3 items
When a feature opens, its entrance gets a Just opened chip, and the Base shows one line a week with a Take a look button that takes you there
The results screen adds a Just opened line, and the title of a screen you enter for the first time gets a one-line meaning and a Glossary link
The first launch after an update shows what this version added in the News window. Features you have already opened get a Take a look button
Shop and Named Heroes
4 items
The paid named heroes (Aldric, Mukran, Irena, Rosel, Fine, Sargul and Elowyn) now have 116 potential. Those already on your roster rise too
The shop and the recruit sheet list three perks for paid named heroes: they join from week one, return in a new guild, and can be called back 4 weeks after you lose them
Paid named hero cards in the shop show race, class and row (front or back) on one line
The Taoist's Grand Purity Talisman heals all allies and deals spell damage to the enemy with the lowest health ratio. We removed Cleanse from the description because the skill never had that effect
First Expedition Guidance
5 items
When scouting predicts a deadly fight or a member is hurt, Return here becomes the large button and Fight anyway moves to a small one. Climb anyway on the results screen works the same way
If the floor you pick on the departure screen is deadly, a button offers a lower floor, and Fill party appears when seats are empty
The battle forecast adds a line explaining why its verdict can differ from the raw numbers
Weeks that end with no floors gained now say that wages are still paid, and a week that ends in debt shows how to pay it back with a Rear Duty button
Rear duty pay previews now show the week you fought on an expedition and the week you skipped it separately
Fixed
4 items
Skill descriptions now say whether the weakest enemy means the lowest remaining health or the lowest health ratio. The Bard's skills explain what corrosion is, and the Warrior's Crushing Blow now says it hits two other enemies
On an unfolded iPhone Duo in landscape, Next Week was pushed off screen and the status bar on the right covered the gear and bell buttons
On wide tablet screens, a dark panel covered the middle of the battle
The battle report showed Missing counters 0 in battles that do not use counters
