This app does not ask for accounts, names, or contact details. There is no sign-in, no ads, and no analytics or tracking. The game runs on your device. If you use “Move with a code”, an encrypted copy of your save is held on a server for a while. The details are below.

1. What we do not collect

We do not collect or ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. There is no sign-up and no sign-in.

2. What is stored on your device

Your progress (company name, mercenaries, equipment, climb records, settings) is stored on your device.

Save files and their backup copies in the app’s own data folder
Unless you use “Move with a code” (section 3), this data never leaves your device and the developer cannot see it
Deleting a slot in the app, or deleting the app, removes it

3. What is held on a server when you move with a code

Only when you tap “Move with a code” under Settings › Save data, the following is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) so you can move your save to a new device.

Encrypted save: your whole save, compressed and encrypted with the code you receive (AES-256-GCM). Without the code, not even the developer can open it.
Retention: it is deleted automatically 180 days after you upload it.
Anonymous sign-in record: the app uses Firebase anonymous authentication to write to storage. It is not linked to a name or email.
Connection logs: connecting to the server may leave records such as your IP address in Google’s server logs.

This information is used only to transfer your save. It is not used for anything else or given to third parties. Storage and processing are handled by Google LLC, and the servers may be outside your country. Google’s handling follows the Firebase privacy information.

To delete it before 180 days, email us the code you received and we will find and delete that save.

4. Other network use

News and update checks: when you are online, the app reads notices and the latest version from the official site, and version information from the Apple App Store. The app sends no data with these requests, but the servers may log your IP address.
Send Feedback: “Send Feedback” in Settings opens your mail app with the app version, device and OS version, language, game progress (year, week, highest floor), and that session’s error log filled in. Nothing is sent until you send the email yourself. We use these emails only to reply.

5. In-app purchases

In-app purchases are handled by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). The developer never receives or stores payment details; what you bought is recorded on your device and by the store. Payment data is governed by each store’s privacy policy.

6. Tracking and ads

We use no ad networks, analytics or tracking tools, social sign-in, or crash-reporting services. The app does not track you as defined by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency and does not ask for tracking permission.

7. Children’s privacy

We do not ask for age and do not collect children’s personal data separately. The information in sections 3 and 4 is handled the same way for everyone.

8. Your choices

You can delete game data on your device by deleting a slot in the app or deleting the app. A save held on the server is deleted after 180 days; to delete it sooner, email us the code.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the effective date at the top. Changes that collect more information will be announced in an app update.
