Getting started
Rear duty
Rear duty sends mercenaries who are not on the expedition out to earn gold, shards or soul embers. You have 3 duty slots, and the abyss perk "Extra Rear Duty Slot" raises that to 4.
Tap the rear duty line on the Base screen to choose a mission and assign mercenaries. Anyone who joined that week’s expedition or is injured rests from duty and starts again after returning or healing.
Each mercenary earns an output share. The share compares their power with your main party’s average, so stronger mercenaries earn more. Members on rear duty do not count as neglected, but only taking the field on an expedition keeps a retirement promise.
Missions and rewards in detail
Escort. Earns gold.
Abyss Patrol. Earns shards. Available after you reach the abyss.
Salvage. Finds soul embers. Available after you open the material dungeon.
Early pay. In any week with at least one mercenary on duty, the guild receives an extra 2000G. This pay shrinks as your best floor rises and stops at floor 100.
Weeks without an expedition. If nobody goes on an expedition that week, rear duty pays only 50% of its gold and never more than that week’s wages. Shards and embers are unchanged.
Renown. Each renown tier adds 8% to rear duty rewards, up to tier 5.
